The 15th annual ascent on Krim, which consists of cycling and hiking, was marked by record braking achievements. It was attended by 117 participants – 4 female and 39 male cyclists and 27 female and 47 male hikers which faced the steep trail in sunny weather. 

Appropriate equipment and great physical condition lead to increased competition among the cyclists. This year, Matic Modic swept away the competition as he beat the second placed cyclist by 3 minutes and reached a new track record with a time of 46:25.

After the race, we moved on the banks of the Ljubljanica river, where cups and non-cash prizes were handed out to the best cyclists and hikers; followed by the social part of the event, during which the participants competed in various social games, with the sports aimed mostly at getting to know the other participants and spending time with them.
