Upgrade Announcement: New Electrical Cabinet and Safety Valves for R-DRY Adsorption Dryers
We are pleased to announce an important upgrade to our R-DRY series adsorption dryers that enhances both usability and safety. All R-DRY units will be equipped with a new electrical control cabinet and new safety valves — a change that adds value to our partners.
New R-DRY Control Cabinet Design
The redesigned control cabinet improves usability, safety, and connectivity. Key updates include:
7" Touchscreen HMI (previously 4")
Larger display ensures better visualisation and easier navigation – resulting in a more intuitive user experience.
Integrated Safety Relay
Previously, safety-critical sensors were wired directly to the PLC. In the new version, these sensors connect to a dedicated safety PLC, which disconnects power from large consumers while keeping the PLC and HMI active for diagnostics and communication.
4G/5G Modem Support for Remote Access
A modem is now preinstalled for remote connection. (SIM card not included; must be provided by user or OMEGA AIR.) This enables remote support and monitoring capabilities.
Improved Control Logic
Increased system reliability and expanded options for customisation based on application-specific needs.
External RJ-45 Ethernet Port
Located directly on the cabinet – no need to open the cabinet for programming, Modbus TCP/IP, or Profinet connection.
Membrane Cable Entry Plate
Easier manipulation of cables while still maintaining IP66 protection rate.
Wiring Diagrams in EPLAN
All wiring documentation now follows industry-standard EPLAN format for clarity and compatibility.
Safety Valves
As part of our continuous commitment to quality and safety, all R-DRY models will now include new safety valves as part of the standard assembly, adding an additional layer of protection to the system.
