Temperature Swing Adsorption dryers are dryers that use high temperature to regenerate one of their columns that has been saturated with humidity due to adsorption process. Although our standard is around +160°C, the temperature level depends on the required pressure dew point, adsorbent used, inlet gas composition and other aspects of the process.

Discovered in 1766 by the British physicist Cavendish, dihydrogen (H2) - more commonly known as hydrogen – is the most common element in the universe (main element of the Sun and stars). However, it is rarely found alone on and in the Earth, and is very often an integral part of various organic materials and, more importantly, water. It is an extremely flammable gas (with oxygen) that also becomes highly toxic when its presence in ambient air increases.

Since water vapour is a part of atmospheric air, condensate in compressed air systems can’t be avoided. During the compression process, the air is heated and then cooled down as it passes through hoses, valves and piping. As it approaches the ambient temperature, the vapour condenses and this liquid can be removed by mechanical separation. As the compressed air cools further, more condensate is formed.
