Demonstration of the Micro Biogas Plant

Micro Biogas Plant built by Omega Air has been presented at Agricultural Institute of Slovenia on May 18.

Omega Air biogas plants are intended for the processing of different organic wastes. This biogas plant represents testing centre for different equipment, biogas potential and degradation efficiency of substrates.

Small cogeneration unit with 7kW electrical power and 16kW of heating power is installed in the engine room of the biogas plant. A horizontal reactor with volume of 24 m3 produces up to 50 m3 of biogas per day, which is sufficient for the production of 60 to 65 kWh of electricity. Electricity is primarily consumed at Agriculture institute, part of it is distributed to public network.
