Desiccant adsorption dryers for cement production

All companies that produce cement need a large amount of compressed air to operate. The compressed air station distributes compress air to various technological processes.

OMEGA AIR d.o.o. Ljubljana offers a high-tech and reliable desiccant adsorption dryers for the preparation of compressed air in cement plants, in accordance with all the requirements of ISO 8573-1.

The main consumers are raw materials department, drying department, mill department, packaging, as well as burning department. In addition, to increase the efficiency of combustion and cooling of the fuel injection tubes, compressed air is fed directly into the furnace.

R-DRY BVA - desiccant adsorption dryers are designed for a continuous drying where ambient air is used to regenerate and cool columns in a vacuum mode. Adsorption takes place under pressure in the first column while the second column regenerates (heated ambient air for desorption + ambient air in vacuum mode for cooling). Due to regeneration in vacuum mode BVA type of dryers don’t consume any compressed air for the operation.

R-DRY BVL - series is designed for a continuous drying where water cooling in a closed loop is used. Due to cooling in a closed loop BVL type of dryer is suitable for applications where low PDP is required at hotter and more humid ambient conditions. Due to cooling with water cooled air in a closed loop, BVL type of dryers don’t consume any compressed air for the operation.

RС- DRY - series is designed for continuous drying of compressed air using warm air coming from the compressor in the regeneration stage. It means that heat of compression dryers do not need any additional source of energy to regenerate the adsorbent. Adsorption, as well as regeneration, take place under pressure meaning no compressed air is wasted for depressurisation.

HPR- DRY - heat regenerated adsorption dryers are also designed for a continuous drying. Adsorption takes place under pressure in the first column while the second column regenerates with heated ambient air or purge.

R-DRY BP - series is designed for a continuous drying using expanded dry compressed air purge for cooling. Adsorption takes place under pressure in the first column while the second column regenerates (heated ambient air for desorption + expanded dry compressed air purge for cooling). BP type of dryer is suitable for applications where low PDP is required at hotter and more humid ambient conditions and where compressed air can be utilised for cooling.
