Omega Air – TSA Air & Gas Dryers for low and medium pressures

Temperature Swing Adsorption dryers are dryers that use high temperature to regenerate one of their columns that has been saturated with humidity due to adsorption process. Although our standard is around +160°C, the temperature level depends on the required pressure dew point, adsorbent used, inlet gas composition and other aspects of the process.

The regeneration phase has two major steps, which can be called Heating and Cooling. 

The Heating phase will always use the same principle: some heated gas is blown into the saturated column, most of the time at atmospheric pressure. 

But what sets apart one model from another is the cooling phase, whether it is performed from ambient air (BVA), with cooling water (BVL), with a fraction of the inlet gas (BP, HP) or directly from the compressor's heat (RC-F, RC-P).

- Features: 
  - Independent from ambient temperature

RC-F (Full stream)

- Application(s): High temperature oil-free compressors

- Features: 
  - Very low power consumption (no heater) 
  - Independent from ambient temperatures

- Utilitie(s): Electricity, instrument gas in case of external source of regeneration gas, inert gas in case of dangerous gas 
- Inlet gas consumption: 10-15%, depending on conditions

  - No inlet gas contamination (in case of no external source of regeneration gas used) 

HP
