Water-cooled aftercooler ACW series

Water-cooled aftercooler ACW series has been designed to reduce compressed air temperature thus water vapour content in compressed air system. Hot compressed air/gas passes through the tubes. Cooling water passes around the tubes in counter flow. ACW aftercooler ensures the maximum performance and protection of all equipment, such refrigeration dryers, adsorption dryers and filters, positioned downstream of this unit.

Technical data

SIZING CONDITIONS:
Compressed air flow at 7 bar(g) working pressure and 50 °C inlet temperature (100 % saturated).
Compressed air outlet temperature 10 °C higher than inlet cooling water temperature, 5 °C cooling water differential temperature.

CONDITIONS:
Shell side: max. pressure 10 bar and temperature range —10 °C/90 °C.
Tube side: max. pressure 10 bar and temperature range —10 °C/200 °C.

REMARKS:
Different models for different flow rates, also with higher max. preIssure and higher max. inlet temperature are available on request.
